Tamahere Market
The Tamahere Country Market is held in the St Stephen’s Church grounds, corner of Airport Rd and Tamahere Drive, (just off State Highway 1) on the third Saturday of each month from 8am to 1pm.
Upcoming market days are Saturday June 15, July 20 and August 17.

The popular market, south of Hamilton, offers everything from organic produce to art and craft, local wine, collectibles, olive oil, woodwork, jewellery, glass art, cheese, bread, and great coffee.
EFTPOS is available but taking plenty of cash avoids the queue. BYO bags is practical and cuts down on the need for plastic.
Plentiful parking is available on Tamahere Drive, at Johnson’s House Removals (entrance off Airport Rd) and on Devine Rd (access from the SH1 on ramp toward Hamilton).
