Community & Environment Tamahere Inc (C&E Tamahere) is a residents group formed to oppose the central Tamahere, Titoki Sands quarry proposed for a 51.7ha block on the corner of State Highway 1 and Tauwhare Rd.

The society says it plans to act on other local causes members deem suitable and is “committed to protecting the lifestyle values of the greater Tamahere area.”
