The residents group that formed to oppose the Titoki quarry, Community & Environment Tamahere (CET), said it will be encouraging “everyone to submit a personal submission to help add weight to our cause.”

CET suggested affected residents phone AnaMaria d’Aubert, the Waikato District Council’s Planning Consultant, at Six Foot Four Ltd, ph 0800-492-452, and ask for a hard copy of the Titoki Sands, Tauwhare Road resource consent application to be posted to them.

“Everyone affected should have as much information as possible, CET advised. “We’d suggest you should also insist on a paper copy – not a CD version. This submission is large and we’d suggest a paper version is much more readable.”

CET said it would also be distributing flyers to Tamahere letterboxes shortly, and also emailing them to those on its database.
