This month’s Tamahere Market – on this Saturday, May 15 – will be the place for fruit lovers.
Those who hang out for the season that brings fragrant feijoas and juicy mandarins will be in their element at the market that also offers a range of fresh, cooked and baked goods, art, crafts, clothes, plants and books.
Free-range eggs promise to be another bright and tasty treat. And as the days draw in and the temperature declines stall holders beavering away to offer handcrafted knits and warm woollies come into their own.
Tamahere Market is held in the St Stephen’s Church grounds, corner of Airport Rd and Tamahere Drive, (just off State Highway 1) from 8am to 1pm on the third Saturday of each month. For more information, including a map of where to find the market, click here.
