The Waikato District Council has publicly notified the new-look resource consents application by Titoki Sands for a 51.7ha sand quarry in central Tamahere on the corner of Tauwhare Rd and State Highway 1.
The application and the public submissions forms can be viewed and downloaded here on the Waikato District Council website.
The closing date for submissions is 5pm on Thursday, June 24, 2010.
Anyone who wishes to be heard in the consent process must make a submission on the new plan. Submissions made on the previous proposal are redundant.

CET will be holding its annual meeting on Tuesday, June 22 at 7:30pm in the Tamahere Community Centre.
The revised application replaces one made by Titoki Sands in March 2009. According to the company, the new application is “generally consistent with the March 2009 application, however changes have been made specifically relating to how access to the site will be obtained. Other minor changes have also been made to incorporate the answers to the further questions from both councils [WDC and Enviroment Waikato].”
