The Tamahere Country Market this Saturday will be one to put a spring back into your step.
The Met Service forecasts fine weather and a new, free magazine for foodies, Nourish, will be launched at the market.
Nourish, published by Waikato-based foodie Vicki Ravlich-Horan, “celebrates fresh local flavour in the Bay of Plenty and Waikato, according to its website.
And the market will have food for all – man and beast. The spectacular and popular cupcakes make a return and so does the home-made Woofas dog food.
Stone sculptures and glass work will be among the many stalls of art and craft, and it will be time to buy vegetable plants, trees and shrubs for the summer garden.
All the other popular homestyle produce and goods, gourmet food and drink, arts and crafts will be there.
Tamahere Market is held in the St Stephen’s Church grounds, corner of Airport Rd and Tamahere Drive, (just off State Highway 1) from 8am to 1pm this Saturday, September 18, and the third Saturday of every month.
