Saturday’s Tamahere market is one for fruit lovers as local growers roll out the season’s apples, pears and figs.
Tempting biscotti, doughnuts, macadamia florentines and other baked goods can all be washed down with sweet nashi juice or coffee.
Among the many art and craft stalls will be beautiful clothing for children – all to be enjoyed to the accompaniment of buskers including a piper. What could be better on a Saturday morning?
The Tamahere market is on from 8am to 1pm in the St Stephen’s Church grounds, cnr Airport Rd and Tamahere Drive. Click here for more detail and directions.
