Pumpkin Night for family fun

Share

Tamahere Schools annual Pumpkin Night gala is on Saturday, April 9.

The popular family event begins at 4pm with the weighing in of the giant pumpkins the school children have been growing since last year.

The night is a food and fun extravaganza open to all with meals from pumpkin soup to hangi kai and entertainment from pony rides and bouncy castles to singers and clowns.

The children’s creativity is on display with pumpkins and their vegetable friends turned into the most improbable forms or carved into jack-o-lanterns.

Mark the date on the calendar now and don’t miss out on a great local event that also supports the Tamahere School.

Pumpkin Night is held on the school’s playing fields with the pumpkin art displays in the community centre.
