Buying local made easy

Share

Saxon Lodge owners, Rowena Robinson and Rex Hannam, fruit and vegetable growers extraordinaire, are the newest supporters of Tamahere Forum.

They join a small but loyal group of local businesses and groups enabling Tamahere Forum to continue to bring our district news that is local, relevant and current.

Saxon Lodge joins long term sponsors, the Tamahere Community Committee and The Lifestyle Block Bloke.

Tamahere Forum moderator Philippa Stevenson is grateful for the support.

“Thanks TCC, thanks Margaret and Edsel Forde (aka The Block Bloke) and, now, thanks Rowena and Rex of Saxon Lodge. I’m chuffed by your support for my community effort and hope that locals will, in turn, support you by buying local.

“Thanks also to Jenny Scown of Inspirit Studio & Gallery and Jane Manson of the Tamahere Country Market for their enterprise in creating wonderful assets for Tamahere. You put us on the map!

“We’ve got many wonderful enterprises in and around Tamahere – the list on the Forum’s Directory A-Z is long and varied – and I hope they are the first stop when locals consider making a purchase. As they say ‘buy local and grow a community’.”
