Locals with art and craft skills are being sought to contribute to one of Tamahere’s iconic events – the 27-year-old Tamahere Christmas Festival.
Time has taken a toll on the dedicated band which has created the festival and everything that goes into it and new recruits are needed.
A meeting is being held at 7pm on Thursday, July 24 in the St Stephen’s Church to canvas interest.
People keen on crafts, needlework or other ways to be involved in the signature, month-long, fundraising event are invited to attend.
Anyone interested in contributing but unable to make the meeting can email Bev Greene, email@example.com or St Stephen’s Church at firstname.lastname@example.org or phone the church on 07 856 2937.
