The year’s bonus market – this Saturday’s Tamahere Twilight Market – is one for everything that is Christmas.
The stalls will be groaning with gift possibilities, bakers’ delights, and decorations extraordinaire.
The market also coincides with the first day of the Christmas Festival hosted from Saturday, December 6 until Christmas Eve by the very good folk of St Stephen’s Church who decorate their church and hall to inspire. (More on the Festival in upcoming stories and photos here on Tamahere Forum.)
“The Twilight Market is for Christmas presents and Christmas baking, so come and do all your shopping at the market so you know it is all New Zealand made,” says market organiser Jane Manson.
“There are beautiful decorations and uniquely New Zealand ones to put on your Christmas trees. There are products for everyone, from candles to Christmas wrapping paper to garden art and coffee.
“The music on the evening will include carols, so come and start the Christmas Spirit off with us!”
The Twilight Market Starts at 4pm and closes at 8pm.
The regular monthly market will be on at the same venue, St Stephen’s church grounds, corner Tamahere Drive and Airport Rd, on December 20 from 8.30am to 1pm.
