Our trusty Tamahere Country Market is on this Saturday and promising the best from the last rays of summer.
The strawberry season may deliver a few goodies still but wholesome avocados have not missed a beat and will be in plentiful supply.
And among the arts to tempt us this month will be the interesting torso ceramics which may or may not be suitable for covering with crafted hand knitted garments – though perhaps they should be saved for real life forms.
The weather is forecast to be fine and sunny which suggests no reason not to enjoy the market and all its wealth of goods before autumn makes the outing more challenging.
The Tamahere Market is held in the St Stephen’s church grounds, corner Airport Rd and Tamahere Drive, from 8.30am to 1pm. More details here.
