The night time buzz of trainer planes is set to finish earlier in the evening with the end of daylight saving.

From Sunday, April 5, when daylight saving ends, the nightly deadline for circuit training plane flights is again 10pm.

The change is in accord with the Hamilton Airport noise management plan.

The 10pm restriction only applies to circuit training. Other aircraft may fly in or our of the airport after 10pm, depending on their section of the noise management plan.

Detailed information about the operation of Hamilton Airport can be found in the Noise Management Plan on the airport’s website.
