We’ll be able to raise a glass to toast the new season at the spring Tamahere Market this coming Saturday (September 19).
The Good George brewers will be at the market to fill the glasses with cider and, of course, their popular beer.
Another local talent will be making a return to the market – Black Dog furniture – so there’ll be something to lean on or sit on while we slake our thirsts.
A new vintage clothing stall will also be making an appearance to entrance some with the new and make others wonder why they turfed out the old.
Meanwhile, something that never goes out of fashion – fresh fruit and vegetables – will be along with spring in every bite, including much missed avocados.
Look out for the locals bringing locally grown fresh produce.
The Tamahere Market is held in the St Stephen’s church grounds on the corner of Airport Rd and Tamahere Drive from 8.30am to 1pm, each third Saturday of the month. For more detail click here.
