Eight of 15 gardens on the Dio Day Out will be in Tamahere on Sunday, November 8 from 9am to 4pm.

Tickets are on sale now at $30 for early birds until September 30, thereafter $35 for a day that as well as a chance to see inspiring gardens will include art displays, refreshments, and plants for sale.

The 15 private gardens range from from grand, country gardens, some with gullies planted in natives, to small suburban spaces in and around Hamilton. There will also be guided tours of the beautiful grounds of Waikato Diocesan School.

Several of the gardens, including the school, will have coffee and cake for hungry ramblers, and there will also be refreshments in Rosebanks Drive.

A booklet with map will be provided and ramblers can start the tour in any of the gardens, visiting all or just those that take their fancy.
