Market for NZ-made goodies

Tamahere Market, where we get NZ-made, produced, created or home grown goodies is on this Saturday, May 20.

Warmth and cuteness for kids

The weather forecast is for sunny but brisk autumn weather so the advice is to wrap up warmly to go looking for more warmth among the fine woollies, recycled fashion, pies, pastries and coffee cups.

The market is renowned for its wide range of produce, craft, art, plants and awesomely creative stall holders.

The kids can be covered by cute, cuddly winter wraps and even pampered pooches can be bedecked in a cover with collar to match.

It’s still also a good time to plant trees and perennial plants for next season, plus brassica plants will be available, too.

Tamahere Market is held in the St Stephen’s Church grounds, corner of Airport Rd and Tamahere Drive, the third Saturday of the month, from 8.30am to 1pm. Click here for more information.
