Meet for meat at market

Tamahere Market – on this Saturday – is a great meeting place and a meaty place, too.

The market sports an impressive range of meat products, including artisan Hungarian salamis, venison salami, bacon, sausages, and patties.

The meaty treats go well with market-bought chutney, Pandoro breads or with a little Mount Eliza Cheese on the side.

After that’s been digested there are always warm doughnuts for dessert.

After satisfying internal needs thoughts may then turn to external ones.

Warm winter beanies, scarves and children’s wear will feature at the June market.

Tamahere Market is held in the St Stephen’s Tamahere church grounds, corner of Airport Rd and Tamahere Drive, from 8.30am to 1pm, the third Saturday of every month. For more details see here.
