Tamahere School’s new pools will be available over summer to community users who register and pay for passes to the facility.

The first Tamahere School pupils to make a splash take to the small pool.

The school has to adhere to a strict safety regime to enable members of the public to use the pool and will trial a system of two passes from January 3 to April 15.

Camille Stranks will be at the Tamahere Community Centre, Monday to Wednesday, December 11 to 13, 8-9am, to sign up pass holders.

Gaining the pass will involve reading and signing documents, supplying a photo or having one taken, and being inducted through the facility either physically or by watching an induction video.

Two pass options are available. A gold pass, which costs $100 per adult or $180 per couple, is mainly for people who want to do swim training while a silver pass for $60 per adult or $100 per couple is designed for people taking family or friends to the pools. Details are in the following PDF: Community Pool Use Flyer

The documents to be completed to take along to the registering days or emailed to the school are here.
