The chance to give feedback on the Waikato’s draft district plan ends this month.
Workshops were held around the Waikato district late last year, including in Tamahere, as part of the Waikato District Council’s consultation on the draft plan.
The open days in November and December were well attended with more than 520 people turning out to discuss the draft plan options and give feedback on a wide range of matters.
Key topics of interest included zoning, subdivision, minor dwellings, home occupations and many more.
Feedback on the draft District Plan closes on January 22 at 5pm.
Council staff will consider the comments made before the Proposed District Plan goes out for formal consultation in mid-2018.
