Family fun night returns

Tamahere School’s ultimate family fun night – the annual Pumpkin Night – is on Saturday, April 6.

The popular event, which runs from 3-8pm, features a big range of activities and entertainments and a wide selection of tasty food.

Pumpkins galore at an earlier event

Amusements include a bouncy castle, bumper balls, horizontal bungy, slides and horse rides, a Nerf fun war, dunk the teacher, and a gumboot throw.

Also among the family-friendly activities will be head stand competitions, magic carpet rides, pop the balloon, face painting, crazy hair, tattoos and a toilet toss.

Having worked up an appetite the hungry will be able to select from gourmet burgers, hot dogs, hot chips, waffles, brownies and other sweets.
