The long awaited opening of The Boundary Restaurant and Bar in Tamahere is set for this Friday, September 10.
“We are so over the moon to finally share what we’ve been working so hard on for the past year and a bit,” said an excited Tajeet Takhar, general manager of The Boundary and the adjacent Forever Bound cafe.
“A lot of love, sweat and a whole lot of tears have gone into creating this special spot and getting to the position of finally being able to open,” she said in a social media post.
A grand opening had to be shelved because under covid-19 Delta Level 2 lockdown restrictions and health protocols the venue could only host 50 people inside. However, there was outside seating which allowed some flexibility, she said.
The restaurant will be open seven days a week from 12pm to 10pm. Booking is advised.
